Katrina Sriranpong is a former Vacnouver-based lawyer who specialized in offering legal assistance and advocacy to immigrants, refugees, and survivors of human trafficking.

Education and Early Career

Katrina Sriranpong studied at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. Katrina earned her law degree from the University of Leicester, England and continued her education at the University of Oxford, England. Her education at Oxford focused on international law, intellectual property, and United Nations administrative law.

While in University, Sriranpong was accepted for an internship with the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform and Criminal Justice Policy, a UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network Institute. “It was a privilege working there to promote the rule of law, human rights, and good governance in criminal law and the administration of criminal justice domestically and globally,” Katrina Sriranpong says. “I also researched corruption in foreign criminal justice systems and focused on the implementation of U.N. norms and standards in promoting the rule of law, human rights, and good governance.”

Legal Experience

Katrina Sriranpong specialized in immigration litigation at the tribunal level and judicial reviews at the Federal Court of Canada.

In Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Sriranpong worked diligently in assisting her clients by coming up with immigration strategies for emplouees of multinational corporations, as well as help administrate applications to help overcome any unseen complications or issues.

Sriranpong relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to continue her highly in-demand work as the only Thai-speaking immigration lawyer in the whole of British Columbia.

Personal Life

Katrina Sriranpong married in 2015, has two young daughters, and lives in Vancouver with her family. Sriranpong is a passionate health and nutrition advocate who lives a whole-foods, plant-based diet and believes in "evidence-based eating" as proclaimed by Dr. Michael Greger.
